Truro Select Board Responds to Provincetown Over Water Dispute
TRURO — Truro's Select Board sent a letter to the Provincetown Select Board on Aug. 11, continuing a string of correspondence between the two towns over regional water issues.
TOWN HALL
The Aug. 11 letter responds to a July 27 message Provincetown sent regarding prior regional water correspondence between the towns. The letter, posted to the town's website, keeps the two Outer Cape communities in ongoing dialogue over shared water matters, though it does not spell out new commitments beyond continued discussion.
In an update to the town's Open Space and Recreation Plan process, officials have scheduled a virtual public forum for Sept. 16 where residents can weigh in on priorities that will guide the town's open space and recreation decisions for the next decade. Residents can also submit ideas or questions by emailing pio@truro-ma.gov or visiting the plan's page on the town website.
